Vocas:

Vocas performed really well in the first part of our review. The quality, intelligence, and dedication to DSLR Shooters convinced us. After some other disappointing setups, when we look at Vocas’ handheld solution we feel like we’re looking at a professional tool again.

Apart from good looks, it also feels real good when we pick it up on its top handle. When in use, it makes a very rugged and safe impression, almost as if it was all molded as one. Nothing rattles. Everything is compact, lightweight and doesn’t ever move. We like that.

You might have noticed that there are two short rods sticking out at the base of the shoulder pad. That’s because we received a prototype shoulder bracket that didn’t have the appropriate connectors yet. Bas from Vocas says:
“That bracket will be supplied with a pair of short (160mm orso) rails. (…) I forgot to add them with this prototype.”

On the homepage they are still showing a shoulder bracket that is too low to work with LCD loupes. Be careful not to accidentally buy that one.
