RØDE has just released the PSA1+, a professional studio boom arm with silent operation features, built-in cable management and a sleek design. Compatible with a wide variety of microphones, it’s now available for purchase for $129.

The original RØDE PSA studio boom arm has become a very popular choice among podcasters, streamers and broadcasters over the years. The company is now introducing an upgraded, premium version of this professional arm: the RØDE PSA1+.

RØDE PSA1+: silence is golden

The new arm has a state-of-the-art parallelogram spring design that should guarantee precise, stable and silent operations. This is achieved thanks to the fully damped springs.

Furthermore, the rubber contact points are designed to isolate the arm from vibrations produced when moving the mouse or typing on the keyboard. This can be particularly useful for live streamers and gamers looking for a crystal clear audio setup.

The arm can fully rotate 360°. Its horizontal and vertical reach (of respectively 94cm and 86cm) should supply a high-degree of flexibility.

Moreover, when adjusting the arm up or down, the mechanical construction ensures that the angle of the microphone stays the same.

One of the most impressive feature of this product is the variety of microphones it can support. In fact, every microphone with a weight between 94g and 1.2kg can be mounted on the PSA1+ via a 3/8” or 5/8” thread.
