Italian company High Performance Resin Cases (HPRC) already offers a series of hard cases that are pre-cut for a large number of cameras and tech products: the HPRC READY line. The list of supported cameras is quite extensive and includes the BMPCC 6K Pro, the Canon EOS R5 and R6, and the Sony FX3, just to name a few.
Now the family is growing with the recent addition of the HPRC2730W for DJI Ronin 4D-6K Combo. Build quality and design
HPRC is famous for the high quality of their products. Personally, I’ve been using their cases for years to carry around and protect my monitors and never had any issues. Moreover, the company ensures a lifetime guarantee that provides extra peace of mind.
The case is quite large, measuring 616.9x531x349.6mm/24.29×20.91×13.76” externally. It weighs 8.41kg empty, which is not exactly “lightweight” as the company claims. However, it is equipped with wheels and a trolley handle to easily carry it around.
Like most HPRC products, the HPRC2730W for DJI Ronin 4D-6K Combo is impact, drop, and corrosion-resistant. Furthermore, since the lid features an internal rubber O-ring, it is also watertight.
Price and availability
The new HPRC2730W for DJI Ronin 4D-6K Combo is now available to purchase from CVP for €685 (excl. VAT). Considering the value of the camera/gimbal package (about $6.800), this can be a smart investment.
Moreover, if you already own a HPRC2730W case, you can pre-order the pre-cut interior foam only for €359.48 (excl. VAT). Both, the case and the foam should start shipping around mid-April 2022.
