Accsoon ACC05 Mount Plate for SeeMo iOS HDMI Adapter Released and Spring Sale with up to 15% Discount

Chinese manufacturer Accsoon released the ACC05 mounting plate, a new mounting option for the popular SeeMo iOS HDMI adapter. Together with the 100cm/39,4in CL100 iPhone connection cable, there are now more ways to mount the SeeMo adapter to your camera. Accsoon is also announcing a spring sale with up to 15% off certain products. Let’s have a closer look at the new accessories.

SeeMo iOS HDMI adapter

The Accsoon SeeMo HDMI Adapter turns your existing iPhone or iPad into a full-blown video monitor, which can also become a recording or streaming device with the free Accsoon SEE iOS app. If you are not familiar with this fantastic little tool, please watch the full video review (below) by my colleague Nino, or read about the SeeMo here and here.

Accsoon ACC05 mounting plate

Sometimes little things can make the biggest difference on your camera rig, especially when it comes to weight and balance. A battery on the wrong side of a rig can make the front or back heavy, or even worse, it can cause lateral imbalance.

The new ACC05 mounting plate is made of aluminum and allows the main body of the SeeMo adapter to clip onto it without the use of the standard SeeMo phone clamp in combination with the 100cm/39,4in long CL100 iPhone connection cable. The compact unit can attach directly to a range of camera setups via a standard 1/4″ 20 screw thread, improving how the SeeMo HDMI adapter can be used on larger professional camera setups.

The ACC05 mounting plate and CL100 connection cable allow the SeeMo adapter to be mounted to the camera separately from the iPhone. An additional anti-rotation pin secures the ACC05 mounting plate when used with camera cages.

On cameras like Sony’s FX6 or Canon’s C300 MKIII, an iPad mini or an iPhone can then be mounted in a forward position as the primary monitor. The battery and the SeeMo HDMI adapter can be placed towards the rear or side of the camera body, maintaining a small footprint for the entire rig.

The ACC05 mounting plate can be used to mount the SeeMo to the Accsoon PowerCage for iPad and iPad Pro. Alternatively, it connects the SeeMo adapter directly to any iPhone or iPad cage.

Spring sale

Accsoon is also announcing a spring sale with up to 15% off certain products including the CineView wireless video transmission systems, the F-C01 remote focus system, and the original Accsoon power cages for iPad and iPad Pro.

The CineView SE transmitter and receiver kit are reduced from $659 to $549, the CineView HE is reduced from $499 to $419 US, and the CineView Quad from $529 to $449.
