CAME-TV Mini 99C and Mini 50C Batteries Announced

CAME-TV has announced the release of two new compact batteries featuring D-Tap power, a user-friendly design, and different inputs for convenient charging. Let’s take a look at the new Mini 99C and the Mini 50C batteries.

CAME-TV is a Chinese designer and manufacturer that has been around for some time, offering battery, wireless intercom, lighting, and other solutions for filmmakers and photographers.

Two compact batteries with interesting features

On this occasion, CAME-TV announced the release of two new compact batteries, the Mini 99C and the Mini 50C. Both are broadcast-grade lithium-ion batteries, combining interesting features and a straightforward design.

The D-Tap outputs have a 14.4v output and are helpful for charging/powering other gear like lights, monitors, or any other compatible accessory. Following this idea, the batteries also offer different connections, like a 12V DC, USB-C (PD 2.0 & PD 3.0 Bi-directional), USB-A, and 8.4V DC. These compact batteries also accommodate additional features like fast charging (the Mini 50C can charge 90% in one hour), and an OLED display showing voltage, current, and other information like the remaining usage time. Both models feature a metal v-lock mount and BMS (Battery Management System) that protects them against over-load, over-discharge, over-temperature, etc.

On paper, those new batteries look like a good traveling companion for powering or charging different equipment from cameras to laptops. As they are rated up to 99 Wh they are “carry-on baggage approved” too.

Price and availability

The CAME-TV Mini 99C and Mini 50C batteries are now available for shipping. The Mini 50C features 50Wh, 3450mAh, and sells for $138, while the Mini 99C offers 99Wh, 6900mAh, and is priced at $178.
