BenQ SW271 - New 4K 10-bit HDR Monitor

The BenQ SW271 monitor advances on their professional lineup with 4K resolution, HDR capability and 10-bit colour.

BenQ SW271

As video capture advances into HDR, HLG (hybrid log gamma) and 4K resolution, the monitors used to edit the content need to step up to give a true reproduction of the footage. The BenQ SW271 is enabled with HDR10, delivering images in a wider dynamic range and making it ideal for monitoring HDR footage.

With Technicolour Colour Certification, the monitor features 99% Adobe RGB, 100% sRGB and Rec. 709, as well as also being able to display in the DCI-P3 colour space. As HDR and LUT support has become a standard part of the production and post-production workflow, BenQ has recognized this and designed the SW271 with a 10-bit IPS panel with the ability to interpret 14-bit 3D LUTs too, which improves the RGB colour blending accuracy.

GamutDuo is a feature that allows users to monitor different colour spaces at the same time too.

The monitor also has a built-in SD card reader, USB 3.1, USB Type-C, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 connections.
