amaran has introduced two new portable full-color panel light kits – the Pano 60c and 120c – designed with mobile content creators in mind. The 60c (60W) kit is roughly the size of a tablet, while the 120c (120W) kit is closer to a laptop. Both panels are bright, compact, and lightweight, coming in at just 610g (1.3 lbs) and 1.6kg (3.5 lbs), respectively. Let’s take a closer look.

amaran 60c – key features

The Pano 60c is a compact 60W RGB panel with a 2300–10,000K CCT color range, roughly the size of a tablet – 25.4 x 15.5 cm (10 x 6.1 in) – and weighing 610 g (1.3 lbs). It delivers an output of up to 22,220 lux at a distance of 0.5 meters and 6,290 lux at 1 meter (3.3 feet), both measured at a color temperature of 6500K, making it one of the brightest options in its category, according to the company. Power is supplied via USB-C PD for compatibility with a range of power banks and chargers, and the kit also includes a 65W USB-C PD locking power adapter. The light uses amaran’s Ace E-Lock system, which enables a cable-free, quick-lock connection to the upcoming Peak power bank, expected in Q3 2025. The unit includes active cooling rated under 28 dB, along with a Silent Mode and a Smart Mode that automatically adjusts fan speed.

Designed to be handheld, the wireless control options include on-board, Bluetooth, or the Amaran app. In Quick Operation Mode, users can manually adjust brightness and color temperature or activate preset settings via a Custom Shortcut. In addition, there are 12 lighting effects available, including fireworks, faulty bulb, lightning, TV, pulsing, strobe, explosion, fire, paparazzi, welding, cop car, and party lights.

amaran 120c – key features

The Pano 120c is a 120W full-color panel light featuring 2300–10,000K CCT tuning, roughly the size of a 15-inch laptop – 35.6 x 25.4 cm (14 x 10 in) – and weighing 1.6 kg (3.5 lbs). Designed for situations that require higher output, it produces a maximum output of up to 13,490 lux at 1 m / 3.3 ft (6500K). Like the smaller 60c model, it features active cooling rated under 28 dB, with both a Silent Mode and a Smart Mode that adjusts fan speed automatically. This kit includes a 150W DC power adapter, and the light can also be powered via USB-C PD for use with power banks and PD chargers. It features amaran’s Ace E-Lock mount for a secure, cable-free connection to the upcoming Peak power bank, which is expected in Q3 2025.

amaran Pano 60c or 120c – which one to choose

The Pano 60c and 120c share the same core features: broad CCT range, customizable controls, low-noise active cooling, and 12 lighting effects, but they differ in size, output, and power requirements. The 60c is more compact and is geared towards handheld or portable setups, while the 120c is more for times when a higher light output is needed. Both models support USB-C PD power and will be compatible with the amaran Peak power bank expected in late 2025, offering flexibility for on-the-go shoots.
