The new ANDYCINE M1 Pro microphone fits well into the company’s product lineup, as it is (very) affordable and clearly falls into the camera accessories category, just like most of ANDYCINE’s other products, such as monitors, gimbals and lights.
So another on-camera microphone. What’s different with this one? Well, it comes with a pretty much unbeatable price tag of just $31.99 plus it offers not only an output for connecting it to a host camera but also an input for offering a second channel of audio.
The shape of the device resembles other products from other brands, such as the RØDE VideoMicro, but that one lacks the additional input.
ANDYCINE M1 Pro
So the standout feature is indeed the additionally 3.5mm input, I think. For around $30, you can’t expect a supreme sound performance, but this new ANDYCINE mic could become your best friend if another mic breaks, or you’re on a very tight budget.
Cinema Sound

In the box you’ll not only find the M1 Pro microphone itself, but a bunch of useful accessories as well:
- 3.5mm TRS Cable (for connecting a camera)
- 3.5mm TRRS Cable (for connecting a smartphone)
- Wind Shield
- Furry Wind Shield
- Shock Mount
- User Manual

When you connect the M1 Pro to your host camera, the additional 3.5mm input can be used to feed another audio source, such a lavalier mic, into the downstream audio output to the camera. The result is a stereo track recorded on the camera that consists of two independent audio tracks. Pretty neat solution for such a tiny device!

The ANDYCINE M1 Pro is powered by the host device (via plug-in power), so a battery is not required. Furthermore, there are no additional controls to be found on the microphone itself.
Pricing
As mentioned, the new ANDYCINE M1 Pro retails for a mere $31.99, so it seems pretty reasonable to have one in your bag in case you’re in desperate need of a spare shotgun mic. I’m not sure if it will be my primary microphone for audio recording, but I haven’t heard it yet, so I can’t be sure, right?
