Atomos ATOMOSphere, A-Eye PTZ cameras, a TX-RX System, and StudioSonic Headphones Introduced
Atomos brought four new products to NAB 2025, signaling an expansion beyond their well-known lineup of monitors and recorders. Peter Barber from Atomos walked Nino through the latest releases, all products that are part of a push to expand the ecosystem around cameras and help streamline production workflows.
The four products Peter introduced were their new PTZ cameras called A-Eye, StudioSonic production headphones, the Atomos TX-RX wireless transmission system, and ATOMOSphere, a cloud platform designed for their growing user base, which is an extension of their production cloud service that was introduced a few years ago.

ATOMOSphere – a free cloud-based service
ATOMOSphere is a cloud-based platform that builds on Atomos’ earlier production cloud service. It’s available free to anyone who registers an Atomos device, with 20GB of included storage for camera-to-cloud workflows, backup, collaboration, and archiving. Files begin uploading automatically when recording starts, and collaborators, be they team members or the client, can be given permission to view, comment on, or share in real time.
Peter notes that while ATOMOSphere is not intended to replace more advanced platforms like Frame.io or Adobe’s cloud tools, it offers a simple, flexible option for smaller productions. Users can purchase additional storage as needed and downgrade again when a project wraps.

Atomos StudioSonic – production-quality headphones
The StudioSonic headphones are designed for use in production environments – on set, in the studio, or during post. According to Peter, these production-quality headphones offer passive noise reduction without any electronic noise reduction, and the design includes multiple input options: both a standard 6.3mm jack and a 3.5mm plug, eliminating the need for adapters. Peter said that the headphones reflect Atomos’ initial steps into audio hardware following their acquisition of Aaton Digital. The headphones will be available soon and are priced at $199.

A-Eye – PTZ cameras with built-in motion tracking
The A-Eye PTZ camera lineup includes three models: one HD and two 4K options – one with 12x zoom and another with 20x zoom. These AI-enabled cameras offer auto-tracking and cinematic movement aimed at small productions, livestream setups, schools, and solo creators looking to boost production value without high additional costs, such as the cost of additional crew.
Peter explains that these PTZ cameras are meant to complement – not replace – higher-end mirrorless or DSLR setups, offering a more affordable way to expand into multi-camera environments. All three use Sony sensors, with color science tuned to match well with the kinds of hybrid cameras many users already use. The A-Eye PTZ cameras are now available for purchase. An optional PTZ controller, the A-Eye Control, will also be available for purchase.

Atomos TX-RX wireless video transmission system
The Atomos TX-RX is a wireless video transmission system that supports both HD-SDI and 4K HDMI, using 5GHz Wi-Fi to send video signals up to 300 meters (around 950 feet). Each receiver features both SDI and HDMI outputs, so video can be routed to multiple monitors simultaneously. With support for up to four receivers per transmitter, TX-RX adapts to multi-camera and multi-monitor workflows.
Latency is low, typically around 4 to 6 frames for HD and 8 to 12 frames for 4K, depending on the frame rate. The system is sold as a kit with one transmitter and receiver for $599 or as standalone components. The free Atomos Monitor app will be available when the product ships in June.
Price and availability
The ATOMOSphere is free for all Atomos customers. Otherwise, all products are available for pre-order and will be shipping shortly. The StudioSonic headphones are priced at $199. The A-Eye PTZ cameras are priced at $1,399 for the HD-20x zoom, $1,899 for the 4K-12x, $2,299 for the 4K-20x, and $199 for the controller. The Atomos TX-RX wireless video transmission system is priced at $599.
