Audio Design Desk is an online application for filmmakers that allows you to add sound design and music to your video easily. Right off the bat, the app comes with 25.000 built-in sounds with Sonic Intelligence, using AI-assisted content creation tools. Of course, you can add your sounds if you want to.

At the moment, a free version of the app is available and includes over 500 sound design elements plus an additional 2000 sound effects and music compositions to get started. Paying customers are getting access to more the full 25,000 sounds and music compositions.

Audio Design Desk v1.3 adds Frame.io Integration

To make filmmakers’ life even more comfortable, Audio Design Desk v1.3 update now includes integration to Frame.io. With this update, the deep integration between add.app and Frame.io enables a seamless roundtrip experience between the two platforms.

Here is the complete list of all the new features:

Import video assets with frame-accurate comments from Frame.io directly into add.app.

Export/ upload sound-designed video from add.app into Frame.io, using Version Stacks to compare, side by side, different sound design options.

Sound elements can be tweaked or swapped out in seconds using add.app’s Sonic Intelligence, without ever losing sync.

Along with Frame.io integration, Audio Design Desk v1.3 also includes Audio Design Desk Collaborate. This collaborative version features an optimized codebase that increases performance by up to 70%, a modernized AI-assisted importer, and perpetual licensing.

As I mentioned previously, you can try Audio Design Desk v1.3 for free with some restrictions.

The Audio Design Desk Collaborate full version offers customers the option to purchase a software license outright, also known as perpetual licensing. It means that you pay only one price upfront, and will have the opportunity to upgrade at a significantly discounted price for full point upgrades. Perpetual add.app licenses are available for $399.
