BLUETTI Elite 200 V2 Power Station Launched – Quiet Power for Location Filming

BLUETTI Elite 200 V2 Power Station Launched - Quiet Power for Location Filming

The BLUETTI Elite 200 V2 Power Station has been unveiled, and it provides a quiet, portable power solution that’s perfect for filming in the field where power isn’t present. Key features include 2600W of power, 16 dB minimum noise (max 50 dB), and solar charging capabilities of up to 1000W.

Some months ago, we reported on their AC50B Portable Power Station, and now BLUETTI has launched the Elite 200 V2 builds on the success of the AC200P and customer feedback. The AC200P was the first portable power station to feature LiFePO4 battery technology. While many film and video production crews rely on gas-powered (and loud) generators for remote shoots, BLUETTI gives a quiet, battery-powered portable solution.

For personal use, the Elite 200 V2 Power Station is great for road or camping trips, as a power backup at home, and more.

BLUETTI Elite 200 V2 Power Station – features

The Elite 200 V2 Power Station features automotive-grade LFP batteries with over 6,000 lifecycles. Others feature NCM batteries and 500+ lifecycles. The company claims it will last up to 17 years of daily use. Additionally, the Elite 200 V2 can be charged via solar and also has a sleek and compact design.

Filming in the field, more remote areas, or locations without reliable power, can be difficult when it comes to solutions to keep the production powered and moving. There must be a reliable and quiet solution to charge camera and monitor batteries, rechargeable mics and receivers/recorders, laptops, tablets, phones, and more.

The BLUETTI Elite 200 V2 Power Station provides that solution, and while heavy at 53.4 lbs (24.2 kg), the size is small enough to tuck away. When compared to a gas-powered and loud generator, it’s therefore more ideal for filming in the field.

Full features include:

  • Automotive-grade LFP battery cell with 6,000+ lifecycles (80%) and up to 17 years of daily use.
  • Capacity of 2073.6 Wh.
  • 2600 W of power.
  • Power Lifting mode boosts up to 3,900 W.
  • When AC and DC are both on, it uses 10 W per hour.
  • Can be charged via AC (no adapter needed) in 1.4 hours, solar in 2.4 hours, and car (with Charger 1) in 4.2 hours. A combination of AC and solar can get it to 80% in 50 minutes.
  • 1000 W max of solar input.
  • Noise: 16 dB (minimum), 50 dB (maximum, whole machine).
  • Supports WiFi, Bluetooth, function, and interface optimization.
  • Dimensions: 340 x 250 x 320 mm (13.39 x 9.84 x 12.6 in.)
  • Weight: 24.2 kg (53.4 lbs)
