CAME-TV Pocket 3 Multifunctional Shock Absorber Arm Released

CAME-TV has just released their first compact multifunctional shock absorber arm: the Pocket 3. Entirely made out of aluminum, this arm is primarily designed for action cameras, such as the DJI Osmo Pocket 2/3, Insta360 X4, and GoPro cameras, but it can also carry a smartphone. So, let’s take a closer look at it!

CAME-TV is mainly known for their budget-friendly camera batteries and chargers, wireless intercom systems, LED lights, and camera support accessories. However, it sounds like more companies are entering the vehicle rigging segment, such as Movmax, with their recent Blade Arm shock-absorbing system. CAME-TV is also joining the game with the Pocket 3, a compact and affordable shock-absorbing arm for lightweight action cameras.

CAME-TV Pocket 3 multifunctional shock absorber arm – features

The CAME-TV Pocket 3 consists of two parts: one suction cup and one multifunctional shock absorber arm. The suction cup is designed to be used with cars. The suction cup mounting bracket can rotate 360 degrees and tilt 180 degrees.

If you don’t need or can’t attach the 4.5-inch suction cup to your moving vehicle, the CAME-TV Pocket 3 shock-absorber arm has multiple M4, M8, and 1/4″-20 threaded holes at its base.

The arm is mainly made of aluminum and weighs 882g/1.94 lbs. At its core, you’ll find a spring that will attenuate road damage and stabilize your camera package. You can adjust that spring’s tension depending on your camera’s weight.

Two rubber shock absorbers are attached to an L-bracket at the end of the arm. Your camera attaches via a 1/4″-20 screw to that bracket. CAME-TV doesn’t specify a maximum payload capacity for the Pocket 3, but they claim it is compatible with the DJI Osmo Pocket 2/3, GoPro cameras, 360 action cameras, and smartphones.
