CineD Best-of-Show Award at IBC 2024 – Submissions Now Open for Manufacturers

With IBC 2024 right ahead of us, our CineD team is gearing up for one of our largest editorial presence ever. As in previous years at both IBC and NAB, we will award several CineD Best-of-Show Awards once again at IBC 2024. For the first time ever at IBC, we invite manufacturers to submit their product innovations ahead of the show. This ensures we don’t miss anything amidst the craziness of the show. In only a few weeks time, IBC 2024 will kick off in Amsterdam, and manufacturers are already gearing up for the Europe’s largest filmmaking industry trade show. CineD will be there with an even bigger crew, producing our usual video content. So expect lots of gear news videos and articles about the newest innovations from Amsterdam as usual!

Submissions of products for consideration at the CineD Best-of-Show Awards at IBC 2024 are open now

Starting with NAB 2024 earlier this year, we have somewhat changed the process of taking in submissions for our CineD Best-of-Show Award, requiring manufacturers to submit their products for award consideration ahead of time.

This way, we get a broader overview of relevant innovations and products that deserve our attention.

Ten categories for the CineD Best-of-Show IBC Award

CineD is accepting submissions to compete for the CineD Best-of-Show Award at IBC 2024 in ten categories:

• Lenses
• Audio Equipment
• Lighting Equipment
• Camera Support
• Camera Control & Accessories
• Battery Innovation
• AI Innovation
• Broadcast Innovation
• Streaming, Remote Production & Cloud Workflows

Newly designed Awards Trophy

Redesigned from the ground up, we’re thrilled to present our new CineD Best-of-Show Awards Trophy. Each winner in every category will receive this trophy in person at the 2024 IBC Show.

Submission process for nomination

To submit your product(s) or technology and get nominated for a CineD Best-of-Show Award at IBC 2024, please head over to our entry form which has all the details.

You can submit your product(s) until Saturday, September 14th, 23:59 PST.

For our full Terms & Conditions regarding entering this submission, please read this. Please note, there’s a small nomination fee for each entry, and there’s no restriction on the number of entries per manufacturer.

Every entrant/nominee to the award will receive a small sign that says they’re an Award Nominee for the CineD Best-of-Show at IBC 2024 Award, which can be displayed at the booth throughout the show.

If you want to submit your product or technology that hasn’t been announced or released prior to IBC, we are happy to sign an NDA agreement before your submission. Simply send us the NDA via email, and we will return the signed form in due time.

Former CineD Best-of-Show Award winners include ARRI, Sony, Blackmagic Design, Blazar, Core SWX, DJI, LC-Tec, Zhiyun, frame.io, FUJIFILM, Strada, DoPchoice and many, many others.
