DitoGear Lifter – Raise Your Camera Off That Moving Car!

The recently launched DitoGear Lifter is an accessory for the VibraFreek vehicle mount. Its payload capacity allows it to mount professional cinema cameras as well as pretty much any gimbal stabiliser.

The VibraFreek is a stabilisation device that attaches to a 2m high pillar, whose base is fixed to a frame welded around the rigid parts of your car. This allows you to mount a camera and a gimbal such as a DJI Ronin or MOVI high up above a moving vehicle, and gives you the extra stabilisation needed to even out the movements of the car.

The recently announced DitoGear Lifter is an add-on to the VibraFreek which expands its use even further. Now, instead of locking your camera in one position, the Lifter allows you to move the camera along the pillar on a vertical axis. This kind of movement, in addition to the remote control of your choice of gimbal, can give you some really amazing results as you can see in the video below.

With a maximum payload of 50kg, the DitoGear Lifter can surely handle almost any camera and gimbal combination you could think of. Also, a safety system allows it to slowly descend should a power failure occur, keeping all your gear safe from a 2m free fall. A very nice touch indeed.
