FEELWORLD SEETEC P133 PRO and P215 PRO Introduced – 13.3” and 21.5” Broadcast Director Monitors

FEELWORLD has just released the SEETEC P133 PRO and P215 PRO – a 13.3” and 21.5” director’s monitor, respectively. These are being touted as an affordable solution for broadcast studio and live production applications. Both monitors offer a peak brightness of 1000 nits, 3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 in and out, tally light, multiple power options, support for 3D LUTs, and more. Pricing starts at $540.

While FEELWORLD is probably best known for their affordable on-camera monitors ranging between 5 and 7” in size, the company also produces larger screens that can serve as a director’s or studio monitor. A few examples include their 10.1-inch LUT11S and LUT11H, or even the rugged 21.5-inch SEETEC WPC215 that was on display at IBC last year.

Now, the Chinese brand is offering a 13.3” as well as a new 21.5”, both of which pack a good amount of features in a relatively affordable package. Let’s take a look!

FEELWORLD SEETEC P133 PRO & P215 PRO – overview

Both the FEELWORLD SEETEC P133 PRO and P215 PRO Broadcast Director monitors feature an 8-bit 1920×1080 IPS panel with a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. Of course, the main difference is their screen size. As their names suggest, the P133 PRO has a 13.3” display, while the P215 PRO is a 21.5” monitor.

However, their contrast ratio and viewing angle also vary slightly. The P215 PRO offers better contrast (1000:1) and a wider viewing angle (178°) compared to the P133 PRO (800:1 / 170°).

On the back of both devices, we can find 2x 3G-SDI inputs and outputs, 2x HDMI 2.0 inputs, and a single HDMI out. The monitors support signals up to FullHD at 60fps via SDI and 4K60p via HDMI. Moreover, you can feed the monitors with a tally signal via the dedicated parallel 9-pin connector and monitor the camera’s status via the front and back tally lights.

Up to 32 custom 3D LUTs can be stored on the monitor and uploaded via the USB port. Additionally, both monitors are equipped with a full range of monitoring tools (waveform, vectorscope, histogram, peaking, zebra, false color, and more), as you would expect from a professional monitor.

Audio can be monitored using the built-in speakers or the 3.5mm headphone jack, and the audio meters support up to 16 channels when using SDI and 8 channels for HDMI signals.

Design and power

The SEETEC P133 PRO and P215 PRO feature aluminum housing and desktop stand feet at the bottom. Alternatively, you can attach the display to a standard VESA mount (100x100mm) using the dedicated mounting points on the back of the device.
