Mirrorless Cameras of the Year 2020

The FUJIFILM X-T4 is currently the best APS-C camera that can shoot video in the market (and in all honesty, with its functionality and picture quality it can easily challenge many of the more expensive full-frame mirrorless cameras out there). This camera can be deployed in a large variety of productions. On top, having IBIS on board (and a really good one) opens the door for much more handheld work which was less possible before, with the X-T3. Even using FUJIFILM’s own MKX lenses seems to be much more attractive now.

This camera is small, lightweight, capable of producing beautiful footage, relatively affordable (for what it can do), and simply fun to use.

We feel as if the Sony a7S III will be a perfect fit for owners of other (professional) Sony cameras. The integration is simply better. Even S-LOG files should look the same… Now, what about users from other camps? In our opinion, Sony did their homework. Instead of joining the higher resolution race, they went “safe” making sure that their new product is reliable, robust, and easy to use and we salute them for that! Will it be enough to convince others? Time will tell.

The EOS R5 did a very long way since the introduction of the “R line”. Perfect it is not. Remarkable, yes it is. If you know ahead what you are filming, then this camera can prove to be a very useful tool. So now the question is “how can Canon make it even better?” Well, the answer is simple. Please don’t limit its capabilities. Those who need or like to shoot with bigger cameras will still be there to purchase Canon’s cinema line. But for filmmakers who endorse working with smaller tools, this might be the perfect solution.
