Halmapixel DuoFlex 4K Dual Screen with Flexible Hinge System – Now on Kickstarter

Halmapixel DuoFlex 4K Dual Screen with Flexible Hinge System - Now on Kickstarter

Halmapixel has introduced their DuoFlex 4K dual-screen display on Kickstarter. The monitor offers two independent, dual-stacked screens available in two sizes 24” and 27” that support resolutions up to 4K, and a hinge system that allows for various flexible configurations. Also, a single cable can provide power and data transfer for ease of use. So, let’s have a closer look at these!

Halmapixel, based in Hong Kong, specializes in portable monitors. The company is back with a new product called the DuoFlex, which is a dual-screen monitor with two completely independent displays that support resolutions up to 4K. Plus, thanks to a unique hinge design, the DuoFlex monitor base can rotate 360 degrees, allowing you to adjust it to the most comfortable viewing angle for use in stacked, aligned, or daisy-chained configurations. As it’s also a touchscreen, you can tilt it to a comfortable position and use it with their DuoFlex pencil.

Dual screens

The DuoFlex dual-screen monitor is available in two sizes: 24” and 27” versions. The monitor features two completely independent multitouch screens, which could be an ideal workflow solution for multitasking when a detailed and more expansive visual workspace is useful.

The DuoFlex supports multiple different display modes: stacked, aligned, or daisy chain display. You can switch between the different display modes via a smart touch bar.

Both the 24” and 27” versions come standard with two 1080P displays (upgrade for the 2K available with this purchase).

Connectivity on the Halmapixel DuoFlex 4K dual screen

At the back of the DuoFlex, you’ll find a 7-in-1 dock that features:

  • Two USB-C ports.
  • Two HDMI ports.
  • One USB-A 3.0 and one USB-C type-A to connect devices.
  • A charging port with 165W pass-through power.
  • There are also four built-in speakers.

As you can tell, multiple devices or additional DuoFlex monitors can be connected through the dock. A nice thing is that a single cable handles both power and data transfer, enabling dual-screen connectivity while keeping your devices powered simultaneously.
