Blackmagic Design URSA Cine EVFを解説 – マイクロOLEDディスプレイを搭載したシングルケーブルソリューション
Alongside many new cameras such as the URSA Cine 12K, URSA Cine 17K with a 65mm sensor, and the box-style PYXIS 6K, Blackmagic Design has just announced its new URSA Cine EVF, which will work with all three cameras mentioned above and, maybe, even more.
On the show floor at NAB 2024, my colleague Nino took the chance to visit the company’s booth to sit down with Craig Heffernan, Technical Sales Director at Blackmagic Design, to discuss about this new EVF. Let’s see what he found out!
Blackmagic Design URSA Cine EVF – features
The new Blackmagic Design URSA Cine EVF packs a micro OLED display with a resolution of 1920×1080 and an adjustable optic diopter. The viewfinder comes packaged with a newly-designed rigging system. Indeed, quick release mounts and controls enable users to position the device as needed around the camera.
At the top of the device you can find 6 soft-touch buttons – Record, Exposure, Zoom, plus 3 user-assignable function buttons that can be used to quickly access other monitoring tools, for example.
Single cable solution
One of the best features of the new EVF is its connection to the camera – which happens via a simple USB-C connection using only a single cable for power, video, and data transfer. The cable can be locked at the back of the device for added security. According to Blackmagic Design the EVF can be used with other cameras that offer power and display port data transfer via the USB-C connection.
Pricing and availability
The Blackmagic Design URSA Cine EVF is $1,695 and comes with the mounting system included. It will be released along with the new URSA Cine 12K in May.
