Kessler Crane has just announced the launch of its CineShooter Remote App, compatible with both iOS and Android devices. Also, the Second Shooter Remote App is now available for Android users. Let’s take a closer look at what this app can do!
The Kessler CineShooter is the company’s latest camera motion control product that was announced back in July 2020. At the core of the system, there is a nodal pan and tilt head that allows you to create very complex movements and repeat them indefinitely. The head can be combined with a slider, FIZ motors, and turntable motors to create 5-axis movements.
Using the head itself, you can program up to 10 keyframes. But you can also use PS4 or Xbox controllers to move your motion control system, as well as Kessler’s iOS motion control software. Now, with the Kessler CineShooter Remote App, you have the ability to control everything via your smartphone/tablet.

Also, you can program, operate, and assign the buttons of a PS4/Xbox game controller to certain functions. The CS Remote App allows for precise motor adjustments and keeps your firmware up to date.
According to the company, “this app also paves the way for future features coming to the CineShooter system.”
One great thing for previous Second Shooter users: the Kessler Second Shooter Remote App is now also available for Android devices. It’s nice to see companies continue to update their product even after the launch of a new one.

Price and Availability
The Kessler CineShooter Remote App is available now, for free, on both the Apple Store and Google Play Store.
On the other hand, the Kessler CineShooter is still not available for the masses, with a price tag of $2800.00. Kessler states that their “first run of pre-orders has sold out. Those initial units are expected to ship in September. The second run will go on sale at that time. Second run units are expected to ship in October.” At the time of writing this article, the product is still marked “coming soon” on their website.
