MOFAGE has recently introduced new accessories for their POCO drop-in filter adapter designed for PL mount lenses. These include their Pro Duo stackable filter system with FSND and effects filters, a remotely controllable CPL, a hard filter case, and a low-profile support. All items are now available for pre-order.

The MOFAGE POCO drop-in filter adapter was first introduced in 2022 and immediately gained traction due to its versatility and appealing price point. Essentially, it allows you to attach PL mount glass to your mirrorless or cinema camera body, while also offering a rear-filtration system via a drop-in filter slot.

On the camera side, the adapter has an interchangeable mount and you can choose between Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon Z, and Leica L. Back at Inter BEE 2023, the company added a Kinefinity Kine Mount option to the list, which is now available to pre-order along with a few newly announced filters. Let’s take a closer look!

MOFAGE POCO Pro Duo – stackable filters

The list of available filters for MOFAGE POCO already included a VND (1-8 stops), Black and White Mist (1/4 or 1/8), Orange Streaks, and a Pure Clear. The VND module is particularly interesting since it can be adjusted wirelessly using a follow focus motor thanks to its 0.8MOD gear.

Now, the company is introducing a new system of stackable filters, called Pro Duo, which includes Full Spectrum Neutral Density (0.3/0.6/0.9/1.2) and Glimmer glass filters. As the name suggests, up to 2 Pro Duo filters can sit inside the same filter tray – one behaves as a fixed filter, while the other (flexible filter) can be quickly swapped out if needed.

The FSND 1.2 and Glimmer filters (1/4 or 1/8) can be purchased individually, while the other FSND options are included in either the Pro Duo Standard or Advanced Kit:

• Pro Duo – Standard Kit: FSND 0.3, FSND 0.6, FSND 0.9, FSND 1.2, 4x Pure Clear filters to ensure correct focus;

• Pro Duo – Advanced Kit: FSND 0.3, FSND 0.6, FSND 0.9, FSND 1.2, 4x Pure Clear, Glimmer 1/4, Glimmer 1/8.

CPL and other accessories

In addition to the Pro Duo filters, the company also launched a new CPL filter that can come in handy to reduce reflections or enhance the sky in your shots. Just like the VND module, the CPL filter features a 0.8MOD gear that makes it remotely controllable via a follow-focus motor.

Other accessories include a hard filter case that you can use to store up to 12 fixed and 8 flexible Pro Duo filters, a low-profile aluminum support for the POCO adapter that is only 0.26mm/6.5mm tall, as well as the newly-available Kine Mount.

The new Pro Duo filters, CPL, Support-S, Filter Case, and Kine Mount for MOFAGE POCO are now available to pre-order from the company’s website. Shipping should start in late March. Pricing is as follows:
