NANLUX, the brand specializing in lighting solutions for film, TV, and photography, has introduced the new WC-LM6P-C1 6-Pin Wired Controller, an optional cabled-control solution for the Evoke and Dyno lighting fixture series.

NANGUANG, NANLUX’s parent company, was established in 1992 by Lin Biguang, a photographer and entrepreneur. It is still a family-managed business with nearly 1000 employees in Shantou, China. An alternative solution to the current wired and wireless options

The NANLUX WC-LM6P-C1 6 Pin Wired Controller is an alternative solution for the Dyno and Evoke series, complementing the existing fixtures’ controls. Being wired, it is handy in situations when wireless communication is challenging or impractical. It is also an alternative when budget or crew restraints do not allow a wired connection from the fixture to a control board and operator.

The WC-LM6P-C1 implements the physical controls of the fixtures for straightforward and precise operation up to 8m from the lamp head. It features a 3.2-inch display and an intuitive control interface, with an accessible workflow for new and experienced users. The controller has three knobs and three buttons for quick adjustments of brightness, green/magenta values, and CCT. We can adjust brightness with 0.1% precision, allowing us to switch from zero to the current value by pressing a knob. 

The NANLUX WC-LM6P-C1 ensures adjustable positioning on set with an 8m connection cable, featuring a 6-pin self-latching aviation connector on both ends and a USB connector. Its robust design helps overcome challenging setups like rigging fixtures at elevated heights.

Price and availability

The WC-LM6P-C1 6 Pin Wired controller will retail at $225 plus local taxes, shipping by the end of January 2024. It includes the controller, a carrying bag, and an 8m cable.
