Canon 70-200mm f2.8L IS II USM Lens

Canon has announced the release of a new 70-200mm L series Lens. The improvements over the old 70-200mm include a four stop IS compensation and a reduced minimum focus distance of 3.9 ft.  Canon claims “improved optical performance on the new EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens by redesigning the internal elements, incorporating a fluorite element and a fifth UD element.”
