New Manfrotto 509 HD Head At SXSW 2011.

Here is the brand new 509 HD head from Manfrotto. This looks to be one accessorized fluid head. It has an “ABR” system that lets you know if the top is balanced. It also has a backlight bubble level. That is a killer feature for night shoots. The Manfrotto 509 HD head will handle up to 22lbs. It is based on the newer ‘bridge” technology system. I thnk this could be one of their best designs to date. Estimated street price for the head is $899 US.
