RØDE Creator of the Year Award Entries Now Open – Entries in 22 Categories

Here is something that should get a lot of people excited! RØDE has just launched a new competition: the RØDE Creator of the Year Award. This competition is geared towards the “next generation of content creators” across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. If you use a RØDE product and have a presence on any of these platforms, you’re eligible to participate and win up to $20,000 in cash! There are 22 categories, and the competition promises incredible prizes, so let’s dive into the details!

RØDE has a tradition of offering some pretty fantastic competitions in the past, like the My RØDE Reel and My RØDE Cast, and, as the RØDE CEO says:

“Celebrating creators is part of our DNA. For years, the My RØDE Reel competition shone light on the incredible work of filmmakers and was, in fact, the world’s largest short film competition. We did the same for podcasters with the My RØDE Cast competition, giving them a global platform to share their work. Now, with the RØDE Creator of the Year Awards, RØDE and its partners are celebrating a new generation of creators – giving back to a community that inspires the world.”

What awards are up for grabs?

The top honor will go to the RØDE Creator of the Year, but there will also be an Emerging Creator of the Year Award aimed at recognizing the up-and-coming content creators who have launched their channels within the past year. In addition, there are 22 content categories, each offering two prizes. One award will be judged by RØDE, and the second one by the community. As an added extra, anyone who votes in the competition will also be eligible for one of ten RØDE prize packs! Here are the 22 categories:

1. Visit creatorawards.rode.com, click “Enter Now” and complete the registration and submission form. SUBMISSION CUTOFF IS BEFORE October 1!
2. Select a category that best describes your content and provide 1-3 links to the content that best represents your channel or account – also identify which RØDE product you use to create your content.
3. If you are successfully shortlisted for your chosen category, community voting will run from October 15 until October 31 in order to select the People’s Choice Award for each category.
