SmallHD Ultra 7 - Now Available in Custom Colors

SmallHD has just announced that their flagship monitor, the Ultra 7, is now available to purchase in ten different custom colors for the buttons, joystick, and bumpers. Also, you’ll get a color-matching antenna band for Ultra 7 Bolt 6 RX/TX models. So, let’s take a closer look at it!

After the Ultra 5, which was released in September 2022, SmallHD introduced the Ultra 7 in January 2024. The Ultra 7 is a high-end monitor that features a 1920 x 1200 touchscreen display with a maximum brightness of 2.300nits, four user-assignable control buttons, two 6G SDI input/output and two HDMI input/output ports, and a locking 5-pin USB port for camera control of various ARRI, RED, and Sony VENICE cameras. The Ultra 7 is IP54-rated and designed to endure the most challenging shooting conditions with built-in bumpers around the monitor.

During NAB 2024, we stopped by the SmallHD booth to discuss their Ultra 7 Bolt 6 wireless video transmitter and receiver versions with Matt Eidenbock. SmallHD also showcased multiple different custom colors for the Ultra 7, which are now available.
