SmallRig S 60 Wireless Microphone (USB-C Version) Introduced - Discreet and Button-sized

SmallRig has introduced the S 60, a wireless microphone aimed at creators for those moments when staying discreet is key. It’s compact, about the size of a button at 2.6 cm (1 inch), and weighs just 7.9g (0.28 oz). Featuring an LDS antenna, extended battery life, and more – pin it to your shirt or collar, and you’re ready to start recording. Let’s have a look!

Features

The little S 60 uses a 1000 mAh battery cell for 11 hours of battery life (44 with the charging case). It features a DSP chip that supports 48 kHz/24-bit recording, and it includes a 3-level gain adjustment for better control over input levels. A button on the transmitter lets you mute with a double tap and enable noise reduction with one tap. The LDS antenna allows for a transmission range of up to 300m/984.2 ft, and the microphone operates with a latency of less than 20 ms for real-time audio capture without noticeable delay, according to SmallRig. The SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) is 74 dB, and the SPL (sound pressure level) is 120 dB. Finally, the S 60 has a USB-C interface that can simultaneously charge when attached to a mobile phone.

The S 60 comes with some practical accessories like a magnetic cup and a magnetic sticker for quick attachment to clothing – and a windscreen (which makes the S 60 almost too cute!). Set-up is Plug and Play, with no need for any additional software.
