The CL-16 features dedicated, non-banking controls for channels 1-16, each fader being manufactured by Penny & Giles for ultra-smooth travel. Also, there are multiple soft-touch buttons for critical functions and a panoramic LCD. The CL-16 is 16.3″ wide, it operates from 12V DC, and it fits easily in a cart. As a reference, the Sound Devices Scorpio can record up to 32 channel/36 tracks: this gives you an idea of how many microphones you need to mix at once, and the CL-16 will be a useful addition to any sound cart.
