Teradek has started shipping the Teradek Ace 750 HDMI Wireless Video Transmitter and Receiver. With less than 0.01 seconds of latency and sending true zero-delay video to up to six receivers up to 750 feet away, the system is compatible with all Teradek Bolt 4K and Bolt 6 Series Wireless Systems, as well as SmallHD monitors with integrated Bolt TX or RX units. Teradek is an American company manufacturing wireless video transmission solutions. Not long ago, the brand launched the Bolt 6 series, which we covered in an article that you can read here.

Now, they have started shipping the recently-announced Teradek Ace 750 HDMI Wireless Video System, which has a patented Teradek BB3 silicon chip that ensures a wireless HDMI video transmission with less than 0.01 seconds of latency.

Teradek Ace 750 HDMI wireless video transmission system – overview

The Teradek Ace 750 HDMI can transmit 4K30p 10-bit video to as many as six receivers, with a range of up to 750 feet. The unit has an auto channel selection feature that automatically connects to the clearest channel in the area for optimal signal strength. It has full 5GHz connectivity plus 12 newly available U-NII 5 channels (aka 6GHz) for more frequency options and a cleaner signal. Teradek follows all frequency usage and power output guidelines, ensuring full FCC and CE compliance. 

Physically, the Ace 750 HDMI features an OLED display that shows the system status, an on/off switch, a USB-C port for firmware updates, an HDMI input/output port, a Bluetooth button, and a barrel power connector (7-18V). The internal antennas are pointed upwards for a clear signal. 

Finally, the Bolt Manager app, available for iOS and Android, allows users to pair their devices and manage settings from their smartphones or tablets.

Price and availability

According to Teradek’s website, the Ace 750 HDMI is now shipping. The official retail price is:

• $1,199 for the transmitter and receiver kit;
• $694 for the transmitter or receiver.
