The Tilta VT03 Tabletop Video Fluid Head with 1-Stage Carbon Fiber Tripod Legs has been unveiled and features a compact size, supported weight of up to 6.6 lbs (3kg), and a maximum height of 13.78 inches (350mm). It’s an ideal tripod for those doing smaller setups such as podcasting, smartphone filmmaking, and product shots. Let’s take a closer look!
Tilta has been releasing a variety of new production tools of late: new camera cages, matte boxes, the Khronos System for iPhone and other accessories. The company offers a wide variety of solutions for creatives. The Tilta VT03 Tabletop Video Fluid Head Tripod joins two other tabletop tripods recently introduced by Tilta, the BT03 and BT03E.
Tilta VT03 Tabletop Video Fluid Head Tripod – features
One of the main features of the Tilta VT03 Tabletop Video Tripod is its fluid head. The BT03 and BT03E Tabletop Tripods come with a 360° vertical panoramic ball head. The compact VT03 can support up to 6.6 lbs (3kg), has an ARCA Receiver with Quick Release Plate (with 1/4”-20 thread), and is constructed with carbon fiber and aluminum alloy, making it both durable and lightweight. This is a highly portable tripod that can be used both indoors and outdoors.
The VT03 also supports most camera cages and systems, including those from Tilta. These include the Khronos System for the iPhone and the new Full Camera Cage for the Sony EV-E10 II.

The Tilta VT03 Tabletop Video Tripod retails for $149 and is available now. If you’re using small mirrorless, DSLR, cinema or similar cameras, or smartphones, it’s definitely worth a closer look. It’s especially useful for filming small setups such as podcasts, vlogs, product shots, smartphone filmmaking, and more. While it does cost more than the Tilta BT03 and BT03E Tabletop Tripods, the fluid head could make it more attractive. Learn more at Tilta’s VTO3 page.
