
The Z CAM E2 Mark II series of cameras has been unveiled, including the Z CAM E2–F6 Mark II, Z CAM E2-S6 Mark II, and Z CAM E2-M4 Mark II. The cameras now include a built-in gyroscope sensor, SDI and HDMI connectivity, a BNC timecode port with Genlock, and more. Let’s dive into each new model’s features!
In 2015, Z CAM launched the E1, a 4K MFT camera, which was the smallest of its kind upon release. Over the years, the company has introduced a variety of cinema and VR cameras, such as the Z CAM E2, Z Cam E2C, Z CAM E2-S6, Z CAM E2-F6, Z CAM E2-F8, Z CAM E2-5G, and others. The company also specializes in lighting solutions. Z CAM’s cinema cameras were recently used in the new Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.

Z CAM E2 Mark II series of cameras – features
The Z CAM E2-S6 Mark II (Super 35) and Z CAM E2-F6 Mark II (Full-Frame) can shoot up to 6K at 60 fps, while the Z CAM E2-M4 Mark II (4/3″) films up to 4K at 160 fps. The cameras now include both 3G-SDI and HDMI, along with a BNC timecode port and Genlock. Additionally, the cameras feature a built-in gyroscope sensor, CFexpress Type B media storage, a mini V-lock battery plate, and other specifications.
